Sport Nova Scotia is a non-profit association incorporated in 1971. It is a federation of provincial sport governing bodies. It’s purpose is to promote, encourage, and stimulate interest in amateur sport in Nova Scotia.
The Nova Scotia Health Promotion - Physical Activity, Sport and Recreation mandatre is to provide policies, programs , and services that maintain, enhance and create quality sport, recreation and fitness opportunities whick improve health and contribute to the social and economic well-being of all Nova Scotians.
