Shelburne County residents in the 55+ age category are invited to participate in sociable competition with old and new friends. The fun kicks off on Saturday September 19th at 10:00am – 2:00pm at the Islands Provincial Park just outside the Town of Shelburne with a FREE barbecue and games – just a taste of what September 29 – October 3 has to offer. Auction 45’s, Crib, Geo Caching, Nordic Walking, Bowling, Golf, Yoga, Horseshoes, Seniors Dance/55+ Games Idol, Hockey, Curling, Volleyball, and much more will be held throughout the County finishing off with an Awards Banquet and Entertainment on October 3rd at the Shelburne Legion. Register with your local Shelburne County Recreation Departments and Volunteer Services on or before September 19th at the FREE Islands Park Picnic.
