Friendly Reminder to all Residents!
Piping Plovers have returned to the beaches of Shelburne!
Birds Canada has placed signs alerting beach-goers the importance of respecting the birds’ habitat but we would like to remind everyone to stay away from walking on the dunes, running your dogs off-leash and ATV/Motocross Bikes driving on the beach.
Please remember the importance of giving these birds the space they need and that it’s everyone’s responsibility to respect the restrictions.
