Black Loyalist Run/Walk

On June 3, SRHS students will be running or walking from the Black Loyalist Heritage Centre in Birchtown to the Guild Hall in Shelburne along the trail – a distance of 10.8 km. This event is being held in recognition of the resilience, strength and creativity that the Black Loyalists showed as they worked to create a new life for themselves and their families in Nova Scotia. Please note that the route is one way, and members of the community are responsible for their own transportation to the Black Loyalist Heritage Centre for the start, and from Guild Hall following the event.
