The Municipality of Shelburne tender bid for property AAN 03832651, commonly known as the “Old Boy School” was successful.
Funding from Housing Accelerator Fund 2 (HAF2) will be used for eligible costs such as the land acquisition, brownfield redevelopment (demolition of buildings), and site preparation to support future housing development. This decision reflects a responsible step forward to use funding to address the current unsafe conditions on the property and plan for its future, including potential housing and recreation opportunities for residents.
The tender bid amount was $61,370.50, plus HST.
