To ensure hospitality is offered in an accountable, economical and consistent manner and pursuant to the Municipal Government Act of Nova Scotia, the Municipality has adopted this Hospitality that provides clear direction and guidance with respect to the appropriate expensing of necessary hospitality expenses that support government’s objectives.

Warden, CAO and Councillor’s Expenses

The Council and Staff Expense Policy was adopted to provide direction on the appropriate use of municipal funds through the establishment of uniform standards and procedures respecting reimbursement of expenses incurred by Council members, the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), and Municipal employees in relation to Municipal business.
