The Municipality of the District of Shelburne’s Heritage Advisory Committee has a vacancy for three (3) individuals to assist with matters affecting the development, preservation and maintenance of municipal heritage properties, programs, and services. The Committee is created under the authority of the Municipal Government Act and includes both elected and non-elected representatives.

Letters of application will be received from residents by the undersigned until the positions have been filled. Letters of application should include a brief biography of the individual and information, skills or assets that will be useful to the Committee, together with three professional and/or volunteer related references. Applicants should have a strong interest in heritage properties; experience with related matters is an asset.  Volunteers selected will be required to provide a criminal record check and adhere to the Municipal Code of Conduct and Confidentiality Agreement.
