The purpose of the Audit Committee is to act as an advisory board carrying out critical review functions on behalf of Council. The function of the Audit Committee is to assist Council in fulfilling their oversight responsibilities related to quality and integrity of financial reporting. All meetings are open to the public for observation and residents are encouraged to attend to stay informed.
All meetings are held at the Municipal Administration Office, 414 Woodlawn Drive, Shelburne, in July and January each year.
The Audit Committee is made up of the following appointed Community and Council representatives:

Staff support positions do NOT have voting power. The alternate Councillor appointment is ONLY able to vote if an appointed Councillor is NOT present.
