Please be advised that the Municipal Planning Strategy and Land-Use By-law approved by Council on June 25, 2025, have been approved by the Nova Scotia Department of Municipal Affairs pursuant to Subsection 208(6) of the Municipal Government Act, with three provincially mandated amendments.
These documents have undergone substantial changes from the documents previously in place for the Municipality. The full documents, including the three provincially mandated amendments, may be viewed on our website at https://www.municipalityofshelburne.ca/2023/10/30/land-use-by-law/ or in person at the Municipal Administrative Office, located at 414 Woodlawn Drive, Shelburne.
These updated documents are in effect as of October 30, 2025.
